In this unusual year, we are here to help you organise a seder in your household bubble. Please contact us to reserve your place or for information on how to obtain Passover food and sell chametz. ![]() Shavuot
Enjoy a sunny Shavuot in the garden at JCoB Central, surrounded by roses and other summer flowers. Children's flower procession and Ten Commandments Experience! (and milk shakes of course) Rebbezin Shira then invites you to join in the traditional Mexican Shavuot Feast (outdoors) featuring nachos, refritos, guacamole, tortillas, salad, rice and of course cheese cake and ice cream. Social distancing rules will still apply and attendance at lunch will be limited to 30 people. ![]() Children's Events
In addition to our weekly cheder, we have children's parties for Succot, Chanukah and Purim and other festivals. Specific dates are not usually published here, so to keep informed, please email us! ![]() Saturday Morning
Shabbat morning services are now on hold due to coronavirus but will restart soon. |
![]() Friday Zoom Kabbalat Shabbat
Join us for our regular engaging and musical zoom Kabbalat Shabbat. Every Friday about 45 minutes before candle lighting. To let us know you wish to attend, please contact us. ![]() Zoom Havdallah
Join us every Saturday night after Shabbat as we sing together to say goodbye to Shabbat. This has been a wonderful way to keep the community together. Light your own candle or share ours over the ether. ![]() Cheder
Every Sunday morning during term time. We use the latest materials to teach Hebrew Reading, Festivals, Ethics and Prayer, catering to children from toddlers to teens. Our cheder is great fun – intellectually stimulating and socially buzzing. ![]() Children's Services
At JCoB, Children's Services are not special events, they are an intrinsic part of shul life. We include children in our services so that they feel welcomed and involved, often using their knowledge from cheder to teach their parents how to join in. We also hold separate children's services to enhance the children's experience and keep them engaged and excited about coming to shul. We also have a family shacharit service every Sunday morning before cheder (pictured). |
