Booking your visit

Contact Us

We are holding our rates constant for the next academic year, as we know school budgets are stretched.
Advance bookings for next year are also eligible for a discount of up to £20.  Details
below.

We offer a variety of options and can tailor our workshops to fit your constraints of schedule and budgeting.

If you have any questions, please ring Rebbetzin Shira on 07931747316 or email [email protected].

If you are ready to book a visit, then please fill out our visit details form to let us know what sort of visit you want.

We can come to your school in person if you are within a 90 minute drive of Reading.

Our virtual visits are available to any school in the UK (regardless of location).  We can discuss which option is most appropriate for you.

We can also send you materials to use on site for virtual visits, such as seder plates and shabbat (LED) candlesticks, so that the workshops can still be properly hands-on even over zoom.  These are also available with in person visits but are not usually needed as Rabbi Zvi brings props with him on the day.

We have limited funds to subsidise some visits.
If our rates are a problem for you, please be in touch so that we can find an option that fits your budget.

  • Note that for schools at the outer edge of our in-person area, only full day in-person visits are possible.
  • Occasionally shorter in-person slots are offered to fill diary gaps, but if you wish to have just an assembly, then a virtual visit is the best option.

Virtual Visit Rates

• These rates apply to new bookings for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years.
• Visits for 2025-2026 booked by the end of July will receive up to a £20 discount
• Costs do not include any optional extra items such as candlesticks or seder plates.
  • Full afternoon (up to 2 hours): £140
  • Full morning (up to 3 hours):  £200
  • Virtual Standard School day (9:00 – 15:00) - £325
  • 30 minutes (assembly): typically £65*
  • 50 minutes: typically £85*
  • 1 hour: typically £95*
  • For longer sessions, add £10 for each 10 minute extension.
  • Pre-recorded short visit:  same as a short visit of the same length plus £15

*To encourage schools to utilise gaps in the diary, we often discount short slots by up to £15.  There is also a premium of up to £30 on free dates to encourage schools to book short visits on dates that are already designated as virtual, so that the diary doesn't get too scattered.  Please contact us for an updated list of virtual dates and discounted slots.

For slightly longer visits (such as a morning visit for 3.5 hours), additional time is costed at £60/hr.   Please note that visits of unusual length are not always possible and that an afternoon visit tends to be better value than a half morning.

Advance Bookings Promotional Discount

Help us to plan ahead and avoid the rush of bookings when school restarts in September.  Visits for the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible for a discount of up to £20 if booked by the end of July.  Discount is £5 for short visits, £10 for mornings or afternoons and £20 for full days.
The following peak dates are not included in this promotion:
22 September - 23 October (Jewish festive season),
November 11-15 (Interfaith week).
Virtual Short Visits (assemblies and 1 hour slots)

We are happy to do short virtual visits (30 - 110 minutes) and we have organised our virtual visit rates to make these visits affordable as the virtual setup makes it much easier for us to visit multiple schools in the same day.

A single slot can be used for three classes simultaneously, whereas previously a whole morning would have been needed to work with each class individually.  We can send sufficient reasonably priced props for you to have these in place in each classroom individually.

Short virtual visits will normally take place at the beginning or end of a morning or afternoon.  Other times are of course possible, but the cost may then vary depending on the effect on scheduling.  For example, a 50 minute visit at 11am or an assembly at 9:30am will typically be costed as 1 hour visits.

Please note that, aside from visits that fill gaps in the schedule, afternoon visits must be either the full afternoon, or else 50 minutes at 1pm or 2:10pm, or occasionally an assembly at 1pm or 2:30pm.

We can discount short visits by up to £15 if you can fit your visit into a gap in the diary.  There is also a £30 premium on short visits on otherwise free dates so that the diary doesn't get too scattered.  So please let us know if you can be flexible about dates.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO IN PERSON VISITS ONLY

Full Day visits:
Whole day visits allow a school to have a bit more workshop time than separate morning and afternoon visits, but for a cost that is significantly less, even without accounting for savings on travel, so this is probably your most cost-efficient in-person option.  Note that some schools at the edge of our catchment area are designated as full day only for in person visits.

**Coordination Visits

If you can fit your visit around others already scheduled nearby on a given day, then this is a coordination visit.  This is the most economical way to organise a visit.  Note that such slots are a matter of luck and cannot always be found.

For morning and afternoon coordination slots, the coordination discount is typically £20 plus any travel discount.  Occasionally, for coordination slots that are in high demand, only travel costs will be discounted.

***Travel Costs
Standard Rates include up to 40 minutes / 20 miles round-trip travel (measured by averaging google best- and worst-case scenarios for arrival at 8:30am).  For longer journeys, a travel cost will be added to the above rates, costed at £24/hr plus £0.45/mile based on an average of Google maps longest and shortest travel times at 8:30am.

Shared Dates

Travel costs and the coordination discount can be shared between schools if we coordinate visits, so please let us know if you are flexible about dates so that we can keep this cost as low as possible.
