You may not ever have done this or think it particularly important, but it is obligatory on every Jew to dispose of the leaven (Chametz) in their household the day before Pesach. Since we wish to get rid of our chametz and since we often have some chametz which is of considerable value (like Rabbi Zvi’s malt whisky collection) it is customary to sell the chametz to a non-Jew. This must be a proper sale in Jewish and English law. The form which follows fulfils this requirement. After Pesach the Rabbi or his agent will buy the chametz back.
Please complete the form and submit by noon on Sunday 14 April 2024. Forms sent later than this may not be included in Rabbi Zvi's sale agreement. If you prefer a paper form, you can download one in pdf or word form.
